ABOUT THE BRIGHT RIVER
The Bright River is a hip-hop retelling of Dante's Inferno with a live soundtrack performed by some of the best musicians in the Bay Area. Guided by a fixer named Quick, and moving through an urban landscape that is at once both intensely real and wildly fantastic, the show is a deep-rooted love story, and a passionate indictment of the current war in Iraq. It's simply unforgettable.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
The Bright River was met with unanimous rave reviews from across the spectrum of audiences and the press. Read the reviews at www.epicarts.org/brightriver/index.html#reviews.
